As far as the cryptocurrency markets are concerned, so far 2018 has been pretty much the opposite of the bull run we saw last year. A great majority of digital assets have lost between 60-90 percent of their values since the beginning of the year. Here's a look at the top ten cryptocurrencies by market cap size and how they performed over the past six months.

#Bitcoin (BTC) is down 59% from it's ATH of $20089.00 on 2017/12/16 and is currently trading at $8219.51

#Ethereum (ETH) is down 67.29% from it's ATH of $1432.88 on 2018/01/13 and is currently trading at $468.74

#Ripple (XRP) is down 88% from it's ATH of $3.84 on 2018/01/04 and is currently trading at $3.84

#Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is down 81% from it's ATH of $4355.62 on 2017/12/19 and is currently trading at $822.64

#EOS (EOS) is down 63% from it's ATH of $22.89 on 2018/04/29 and is currently trading at $8.39

#Stellar (XLM) is down 66% from it's ATH of $0.93 on 2018/01/04 and is currently trading at $0.32

#Litecoin (LTC) is down 77% from it's ATH of $375.29 on 2017/12/18 and is currently trading at $84.66

#Cardano (ADA) is down 87% from it's ATH of $1.32 on 2018/01/04 and is currently trading at $0.17

#IOTA (MIOTA) is down 82% from it's ATH of $5.69 on 2017/12/18 and is currently trading at $1.01

#Tron (TRX) is down 86% from it's ATH of $0.30 on 2018/01/05 and is currently trading at $0.04

This makes for some serious discounts, it might be time to go shopping :) These coins can be bought with fiat dollars, credit cards, or debit cards on cryptocurrency exchanges such as Coinbase, CEX.io, and Changelly.
